Core safety rules
Independent service
Luplee is an independent student-built platform. It is not owned, operated, endorsed, sponsored, or officially connected with UWA or any university.
Do not post
No alcohol, tobacco, vapes, prescription medicine, illegal items, adult services, academic cheating, dangerous work, or tasks that require entering unsafe/private spaces.
Before buying
Helpers should confirm details with the poster before purchasing anything. For items over A$20, the poster should pay the item cost first or wait for online payment support.
Completion
Only the poster should confirm completion using their private management code after the task is actually delivered or finished.
Disputes
Keep chat records and receipts. If a task feels unsafe, misleading, or suspicious, do not proceed.
Future payments
Online payment should use a marketplace provider such as Stripe Connect, with clear refunds, disputes, platform fees, and payout rules.
Beta terms
By posting or accepting a task, users agree to use Luplee only for lawful, safe, low-risk everyday tasks and to keep records if a dispute happens.
Privacy basics
Luplee uses student email, task details, chat records, and reports for account access, task matching, safety, support, and moderation.
Not for emergencies
Luplee is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact emergency services or campus security instead of using the platform.
Beta Terms of Use
Luplee is a matching platform. Posters and helpers are responsible for agreeing task details, acting safely, and resolving ordinary task issues between themselves unless a report needs review.
- Luplee may hide, remove, or review tasks that appear unsafe, misleading, unlawful, restricted, or abusive.
- Users are responsible for item costs, damage, lateness, cancellations, personal safety choices, and keeping evidence such as chat records, receipts, photos, and timestamps.
- Accepted tasks should be completed only after both sides confirm the request, location, reward, deadline, and any purchase cost in the task chat.
- Luplee does not employ helpers, provide insurance, guarantee task quality, or act as an escrow/payment service during beta.
Privacy Policy Basics
Luplee collects and uses limited personal information to operate the beta safely.
- Collected information may include student email, account ID, task details, saved places, task chat, reports, timestamps, and moderation records.
- This information is used for account access, eligibility checks, task matching, safety review, support, abuse prevention, and service improvement.
- Public task cards should not show phone numbers, social accounts, private IDs, or unnecessary personal information.
- Users can request deletion or review of their account data by contacting the operator. Some records may be retained where needed for safety, disputes, or legal reasons.
Community Guidelines
Do not post or accept tasks involving unsafe, restricted, illegal, or academic-misconduct activity.
- No academic cheating: no ghostwriting, attendance fraud, exams, assessment submission, photographing test materials, or doing graded work for someone else.
- No private-space risk: do not require entry into bedrooms, private rooms, empty homes, or unsafe/private spaces.
- No heavy or dangerous work: moving tasks should stay small and low-risk; do not request unsafe lifting or work that needs professional movers.
- No large out-of-pocket purchases: helpers should not be asked to advance more than A$20 unless future online payment support clearly allows it.
- No restricted items: alcohol, tobacco, vapes, nicotine, prescription medicine, illegal items, adult services, cash, gift cards, or high-value electronics.

Free to use during beta.
During the early beta, tasks use private contact matching and students settle payment directly. A small platform service fee may be introduced when online payment is ready, mainly to support verification, dispute handling, reminders, and platform maintenance.
- Now: no platform fee; users arrange payment directly after confirming task details.
- Private beta: Stripe test mode and small real-payment trials with trusted testers only.
- Public launch: online payment becomes optional first, with the fee shown before posting or accepting.

How paid tasks will work
The poster sees the helper reward, platform fee, and total before publishing. No hidden fee is added after a helper accepts.
For online payment, funds should stay pending until the task is completed, cancelled, expired, or disputed.
Open tasks can be cancelled by the poster. Accepted tasks need both sides to agree or go through dispute review.
The helper marks the task finished first. The poster confirms only after delivery or completion is actually checked.
Both sides should keep chat records, receipts, photos, and timestamps. Suspicious or unsafe tasks should not proceed.
The beta fee is A$0.00. Future online payment fees will be shown before payment and may support verification, reminders, and dispute handling.
